Be Careful When Decorating for Christmas

If you have pets or children, or you have young niblings or grandchildren coming over to visit, be mindful of this. It’s best to put plastic or non-breakable ornaments on the bottom of the tree. Also, if you are going to put a tree in the playroom, this is where you want to use your inexpensive, kid and pet-proof ornaments so that you don’t have to worry about hearing a crash or tinkle when the kids are playing.

This doesn’t just go for the Christmas ornaments, either. Keep other breakables like creche pieces up and away from exploring hands and swishing tails.
