You can Attract Mosquitoes by Exercising Outside
One of the things that are going to make you a magnet for mosquitoes is exercising outside. They look for carbon monoxide, and that is what you are exhaling when you are exercising. So you want to use the tips that we posted the other day to protect yourself.
Some Types of Clothing Attract Mosquitoes
Dark clothing is going to increase your chances of being bit. Also, they’re attracted to warm skin, so wearing a tank top and shorts also can make it more likely that you are going to be bitten.
Having Still Air can Attract Mosquitoes
Mosquitoes hate wind. So it’s a good idea to keep a few fans around and blowing to help keep the mosquitoes away. Not only do they throw the bugs off of your scent, but they can disrupt the flight path of the insects. Before the next party that you throw outside, place a few cordless or electric fans around the yard. This will help keep your yard mosquito-free.
Not Using Repellants can Attract Mosquitoes
If you aren’t using a repellant to keep mosquitoes away, you are literally inviting them to come and feast. Even if you aren’t going into the deep woods, you want to find something that can help repel the mosquitoes.
Not Checking Your Surroundings
Finally, you want to make sure that you are looking around to see if there is standing water in your yard. This is where they lay their eggs. So. you want to get rid of any standing water in the yard.
