· Check to make sure that any key bricks or foundation pieces haven’t settled. This could make it dangerous due to a support system that is faulty.
· Make sure that there aren’t any bugs or any other kinds of pests that have made nests in the spaces. If you have noticed any, either hire someone to get rid of them or do it on your own.
· If you notice missing screws or nails in your deck, you want to take time and replace them.
· Note down any changes you might be considering. You can use the winter to plan and prep.
